Robert Smith vient de donner le détail du contenu des prochaines rééditions en double-album des vieux enregistrements officiels de The Cure. La réédition de "Japanese Whispers" est annulée, mais Robert annonce aussi être particulièrement fier du son obtenu sur la remasterisation de "The Top".

The official 'Festival 2005' (not sure if that is the release title) dvd is scheduled for release on Nov. 20th (Dec. 5th in the U.S.):

"I'm forwarding you an e-mail from my friend who works (deleted - have to be careful these days), about a new Cure DVD. The message is below.

"There is a new DVD from THE CURE that will be ready for release on DEC 5th in the U.S. and shooting to make a Nov 20 date for INTL release!

This is all the information I have so far, but I will send more as it becomes available including a final track list.

IN ANSWER TO THE (FEW) RAISED ULTRA EYEBROWS: THE CURE HAS A LONG HISTORY WITH 'DANCE' MUSIC... OUR FIRST EXTENDED 12" MIXES HAPPENED IN 1981... AND OF COURSE 1990'S MIXED UP (AND MIXED UP 2? HA!)... AND THE MANY AND VARIED COLLABORATIONS... C'MON! WE CAN DANCE! (KIND OF... )


arfffff!!!!ils ne savent meme pas ce qu'ils vont faire!!!!

Dans le quotidien Metro (édition de New York) on apprend que Robert a enfin terminé d'écrire les paroles pour le prochain album (cf info du 07/12), Robert ne se suicidera donc pas (ouf ). Ce dernier sonne un peu comme KM KM KM d'après lui, il est même plus stylé, plus coloré et sans overdubs. Le groupe a d'abord jouer les morceaux tous ensemble (comme pour l'album The Cure) et Robert a ensuite couché des mots sur ces mélodies. Robert a vraiment mis du temps a finir cet album mais selon lui cela valait le coup car au final, cet album (tout comme les 3 précédents) est meilleur qu'il ne l'imaginait. La sortie de cet album est maintenant prévue pour le mois de mai !

eh oui le futur album va rentré dans le livre de record des cure, va til être le plus long a sortir?????? oula j'en ai bien peur!!!

Pour avoir une bonne analyse faut avoir vecus le show et j'en meurt d'envie!!!!!non plus serieusement les set list pour les derniers show sont sympa mais y'a qd meme un petit hic c'est que cela manque qd meme de clavier!!!
Pour le choix des chansons je trouve que c'est tres pop avec qque vieux morceaux rarement jouer mais cela dit c'etais pour des pays ou ils n'etaient pas passer depuis longtemps.A mon avis les shows européeen vont claquer!!!!!
